March
Saying goodbye is never easy.  But when a bond develops between a rider
and their horse, saying good bye is like losing a family member and a best
friend all in one day.  Yesterday, March 9, 2010, Logan had to say goodbye
to Kaycee,  her three year old friend, as she donated her to LSU for
research in hopes of saving another horse's life someday.  Logan and
Kaycee had a year of bonding that was leading to a year of great things to
come in the show ring this year.  Many may say it's all for nothing, but it is
never for nothing.  Every horse that comes into our lives teaches us a life
lesson.  And Logan has great memories and lessons from Kaycee that she
will take with her to go on and continue her path as the great horseperson
that she has grown to be.  Our hearts at the Rockin' S are very heavy for
Logan and Kaycee and  we pray that the time it takes to heal will come
very soon for you.
